The Jurong Bird Park

With over 600 species, the Jurong Bird Park showcases over 9000 amazing birds that will astound you with their variety, sizes and shapes. The newest addition to the park is the African Wetlands – the winner of the 2007 ASEANTA, Best ASEAN New Tourist Attraction. The African Wetland encompasses a large body of water, surrounded by African huts, which house numerous varieties of rare and endangered birds. With so many attractions it is little wonder the Jurong Bird Park is the number one Singapore activity destination. In 1999, 2000 and 2003 it won the highly coveted “Tourism Host of the Year”, at the Singapore Tourism Awards.

The park, located at 2 Jurong Hill is open from 9am-6pm daily, and cost SGD$18 per adult and SGD$9 per child.
